As an official network partner of TED Countdown, Skift wants to involve the Norwegian business community in this global effort. We look forward to soak up ideas and solutions from the global stage, and to present solutions from Norway and Scandinavia to the world.

Britt Nilsen

Britt Nilsen is a graduate economist and auditor. She has worked for Schibsted for more than 20 years for three periods. She has also worked in Arthur Andersen, Scandinavia Online, and Elkem. She has always had jobs in finance until three years ago when she took the position as Head of Sustainability at Schibsted. She has subsequently supplemented with a master's course in Green Growth as a Competitive Advantage at BI Norwegian Business School and Business Sustainability Management at Cambridge University.

Gina Gylver

Gina Gylver (19) has been a climate activist since the age of 12, and is now a member of the board of nature and Youth, the biggest environmental organization for youth in Norway. Over the past 7 years she’s been working to fight climate change and reverse the nature crisis in many different ways: Demonstrating before the parliament, meeting with politicians, and giving speeches at conferences.

Gry Johanne Åmodt

Gry Johanne Åmodt is heading the Global Drivers unit in Statkraft, Europe’s largest renewable energy producer. Her job is to analyze and monitor the forces driving the renewable energy markets. Gry has been working at Statkraft since 2004 and has a Master’s degree in Industrial Economics from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Gunnhild Hystad

Gunnhild Hystad holds a bachelor's degree in electrical power engineering and is working with maritime lithium-ion batteries at Corvus Energy AS in Bergen Norway. She is currently the project manager for the factory acceptance testing where she is responsible for the product testing according to applicable standards. On top of that, Hystad is engaged in work with Norway's largest organization for engineers and technologists, NITO.

Heidi Finskas

Heidi Finskas is Vice President for Corporate Responsibility at KLP, which is Norway’s largest pension company. Sustainability in the finance industry has been her focus throughout her career, and she is responsible for the corporate responsibility strategy in KLP’s investments and operations. She is a co-founder of Norsif, the Norwegian association for responsible investment. Finskas holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Oslo, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Helsinki University.

Jan Erik Saugestad

Jan Erik Saugestad is CEO of Storebrand Asset Management. He has broad and deep asset management experience and knowledge gained over the years holding high profile positions within the industry. Mr. Saugestad holds a degree in Master of Science at NTNU in Norway and an MBA from INSEAD in France.

Jens Ulltveit-Moe

Jens Ulltveit-Moe is the founder and Chairman of the board in UMOE. On completing his education he was a consultant with McKinsey in New York and London, before developing the oil tanker division of the SHV group in the Netherlands. He headed the turnaround of the shipping company Knut Knutsen OAS from 1980. In 1984 he established Umoe AS and has since expanded the group to create one of Norway's largest privately-owned companies. He plays an active role in Norwegian society and is a former president of both the Norwegian Shipowners' Association and the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise. He is elected Chairman of the Board of Cicero and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Environmental Defense Fund Ltd. Europe. He holds a Master's degree in Business and Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) and a Master's degree in International Affairs from Colombia University.

Kayleigh Smith

Kayleigh has worked for over a decade with sustainable development and process management and is really passionate about steering the industry in the right direction. She has a master's degree in Engineering Management from Australia and quickly found her place in the construction industry. ‘There is something with the feeling when you plan and design safe neighborhoods that your grandkids will play and grow up in.’ Kayleigh has worked with BREEAM-NOR for many years and knows how important it is to have common ambitions, ownership, and continuous follow-up to ensure success

Mathias Juell Johnsen

Mathias is the head of communication and politics in Skift - Business Climate Leaders, and has been running the initiative Guide Against Greenwashing in Norway since the launch in June.

Odd-Harald Wasenden

Odd-Harald B. Wasenden is partner in Arntzen de Besche lawfirm. He holds a Dr. juris degree from the University of Oslo focusing on electricity market law and market design issues. Odd-Harald has more than 20 years of experience from various legal work within the renewable energy industry. Hereunder he has in recent years worked in-house at Statnett and Nasdaq and has significant expertise related to infrastructure regulation in the electricity industry. He is currently involved in projects related to the development of offshore wind in Norway and the electrification of petroleum installations offshore.

Rune Skeie

Landscape architect and urban ecology expert, working at different scales from developing climate positive soil mixtures to new neighborhoods. Lecturer at the universities. A part of the winning team in multiple environmental and urban planning competitions, among others: C40 Reinventing cites – project Recipe for Future Living

Simen Berntsen Rudi

Simen Rudi is communication manager in Fremtind, the insurance company of SpareBank 1 and DNB.

Tine Hegli

Tine Hegli is senior architect at Snøhetta and professor at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, where she teaches a master studio in the field of sustainable architecture. Hegli has held central positions in several renowned projects, like the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, Oslo, the National September 11 Memorial Museum Pavilion, New York, USA, and King Abdullaziz Center of World Culture, Saudi Arabia. She has over the past decade evolved a dedicated focus on zero-emission projects, both small and large scale, and worked closely with research environments at both NTNU and Harvard University.

Torkjell Leira

Torkjell Leira is head of exhibitions and events at the brand new Climate House Oslo. Torkjell is a human geographer and has comprehensive experience from arts, research, and the environmental movement. He has published two books on Brazil and the Amazon and is founder of Norway’s most complete site about Brazil: www.brasileira.no.
