In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ayokunnu Ojeniyi

Project Manager
He is a project manager at the Enabling Business Environment Secretariat and Technical Assistant - Ease of Doing Business in the Office of the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Prior to his current engagement, he was responsible for the technical governance of multimillion-dollar data warehouse projects at a Global Fortune 500 organization. Ayokunnu is passionate about the Nigerian and how the Nigerian government can help improve the chances of success in life for his fellow citizens.

Emmanuel Faith

Human Resource Professional and Author
Emmanuel Faith is a multifaceted personality with scintillating strata of skills that manifests as the situation demands. Formerly a process analyst at General Electric, He is a versatile Human resource professional, employability skills trainer and will be speaking at TEDxSuleja. In alignment with SDG 4, he founded two capacity building communities; Bookathon, a community of committed readers where members read at least 5 books per month and "A word a day" a niche committed to improving the diction of Nigerian youths, presently reaching over 10,000 youths across all platforms. He has authored two e-books, Chronicles of an intern, focused on how to map out a sustainable career path through internships and "Lagos doesn't sleep", poetry collection about love, Lagos and life.

Lamide Johnson

Author and Storyteller
Lamide Johnson is a storyteller, author & teacher. Trained in Business and Entrepreneurship from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Illinois, USA, ‘Lamide has helped entrepreneurs make huge positive changes using the power and influence of storytelling. He has authored four books including “StoryHack: An Entrepreneur’s Guide To Mastering The Business of Storytelling”. He has helped entrepreneurs and leaders inspire and engage their team, attract customers and create a meaningful connection with their community. He is the Deputy Director at the UK-Nigeria Tech Hub, where he works with an amazing team of tech enthusiasts building the Nigerian tech ecosystem, designing and implementing digital skills programmes to drive sustainable jobs and growth, and forging partnerships between the UK and tech startups in Nigeria. ‘Lamide is passionate about young entrepreneurs, helping them build high-performance companies.

Mustapha Bulama

Cartoonist and Illustrator
Mustapha Bulama is a self-taught cartoonist and illustrator. He specializes in political cartoons and children's book Illustration. He joined Daily Trust Newspaper as a comic strip artist in 2000 and ventured into political cartoons in 2008. His cartoons and illustrations are currently published in the Saturday and Sunday editions of Daily Trust newspapers. He has illustrated over twenty children’s’ books for different publishers since 2008, including the Moonbeam Award winning Zahra and Coco Alphabets, Shehu Musa Yar’Adua, The Empty Calabash published by National Agency for the Prohibition of Traffic in Persons and Other related Matters (NAPTIP) and Buhari of the People a children's biography of President Muhammadu Buhari. Other prominent works illustrated by Bulama include story books on Millennium Development Goals published by Cassava Republic. He has won numerous local and international awards in Editorial Cartooning, story-writing and illustration.

Rita Idehai

Geoscientist and Entrepreneur
Rita Idehai is a geoscientist and an entrepreneur who is passionate about circular economy, social justice, and sustainability. Rita currently works as the managing director of Realri Integrated Development Limited (RIDL), a community and social development consultancy firm. Her work with Ecobarter has earned her recognition from organizations such as the SME 100 Africa, LEAP Africa, UNLEASH, Nigeria Youths SDGs Network and more. Ecobarter is currently operational in Abuja, Nigeria Alongside leading innovation and development at Ecobarter, Rita also engages young people and other business owners on social entrepreneurship and environmental sustainability through her initiative, Guide to Social Good. Rita is a fellow of the International Youth Foundation’s YouthActionNet, the Nigeria SDGs youth network, the Recyclers Association of Nigeria and the Tony Elumelu Foundation Alumni Hub.
