Nadia is a 16-year-old Emirati junior at Al Mawakeb School. She believes that prevention is always better than cure and has made it her mission to educate the world on this invisible illness. Nadia is passionate about giving back to her community. She strongly believes in changing the world one day at a time and hopes her talk will embed in your hearts.

Shahd Jamal is a poet and a tutor. She has always been fascinated by the power of the mind. She believes that if you adopt the right mindset, you would automatically be able to achieve everything you set your mind to. You must not restrict yourself to thinking within the area “outside a box”. This phrase is often praised as one of the prime reasons that hinder beginnings. Shahd is confident that the only way in which you will be inspired to begin, and begin to inspire is by adopting the following mindset: Only think outside the box once you are fully aware of what resides within it.
Sultan Farooq

Sultan Farooq is an Emarati senior at Al Mawakeb School. Early on in life, he discovered a burning passion for public speaking and fueled this drive by joining his school’s MUN club. Sultan strongly condemns social standards. In his talk, he will discuss his journey of coercing himself into the norms of social standards to ultimately realizing that these norms are nothing but a facade. Through this program, he aims to exercise his knowledge and experience onto the youth of this world, in hopes of encouraging the expression of their own raw true identity.
