Dr. Ronen Shay received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida. His research addresses challenges in the fields of media management, strategic communication, and communication technology. His published works can be found in Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly, the Handbook of Media Branding, and The International Journal on Media Management.

Speaker 1 Todd Sodano, Media and Communication Professor at St John Fisher will speak about the influence of smartphones and social media and its detrimental effects on inquiry and looking beyond the surface. Todd’s talk will encourage us to be more curious and less anonymous and invisible.
