Theme: What They Didn't Tell You At Orientation

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dylan Alvarez

Dylan is a senior at Johns Hopkins majoring in Global Environmental Change and Sustainability as well as Earth and Planetary Sciences. He has grown up around nature and has found a creative outlet in the outdoors to this day, now as an active member in the Outdoors Club at Hopkins. Some of his favorite activities include kayaking, climbing, and caving.

Nadeem Bandealy

Nadeem Bandealy is a senior Public Health major at the Johns Hopkins University. He is from Kenosha, Wisconsin. His unique experiences throughout college have been integral in driving his passion for the medical field.

Tiffany Onyejiaka

Tiffany Onyejiaka is a senior at the Johns Hopkins University majoring in Public Health and Africana Studies. She is the President of the Johns Hopkins Black Student Union. She loves Baltimore and helping to empower disadvantaged populations.
