Ana Jovanović
Ana Jovanović works as an assistant professor at the Department of Hispanic Studies at the School of Philology and Arts, University of Kragujevac.
After graduating at the School of Philology in Belgrade, she completed her master and doctoral studies at Purdue University, USA, and returned to Serbia. In her professional life, Ana tries to connect her two passions – teaching and researching and, frequently, the border between the two gets blurred. Her immediate interests are in the field of educational linguistics with the particular focus on individual differences in language learning, teacher education, teacher and student attitudes and ideologies. An important research topic is Serbian as heritage language: language acquisition and maintenance and teaching Serbian as heritage language. She believes that there is a strong link between language and a person’s identity.
Gordana Vladisavljević
Gordana Vladisavljević has completed the first and second degree academic studies in English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade. She is currently a second year PhD student at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade
Her fields of interest comprise gender studies, applied linguistics, critical discourse analysis. She is particularly interested in analysing gender differences in chldren’s language. In her academic engagement she has been the author of a few scientific and professional aticles as well as a presenter at different scientific and professional conferences and seminars. In 2014 she was awarded the USA State Department Professional Development Scholarsip for foreign English Language Professionals (E-Teacher Scholarship). She works as an English Language Teacher at Educons University in Sremska Kamenica. She is married and the mother of two children.
Jelena Filipović
Dr Jelena Filipović is a professor of Spanish and Sociolinguistics at the Department of Iberian Studies, Faculty of Philology, UniversitBelgradey of . She has been a visiting professor at the Graduate School of Purdue University, USA and at the University of Graz, Austria.
Her research interests are in the areas of critical sociolinguistics, language policy and planning, gender studies, Sephardic studies, Hispanic and applied linguistics. She has authored and co-authored several books and several dozens of articles in academic journals and monographic publications. She has been engaged in a number of national and international projects in the areas of language education policies, gender sensitive language policies, foreign and second language teaching curriculum design and development and language maintenance and revitalization.
Julijana Vučo
Julijana Vučo is a Full Professor at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philology, Department of Italian Language and Literature.
She has taught at many universities and participated at the most prominent conferences in the country, the region, Italy and in the world. A leader and participant in scientific projects in Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Italy, a member of the expert group for the development of national curricula for foreign languages, teacher training, evaluation of textbooks, the author of the program for the Italian language and author of the project of developing bilingual teaching of foreign languages in Serbia. She is a member of the National Education Council of Serbia and the Board of Education of SASA and numerous international linguistic societies.
