In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Anish Chedalavada

Anish Chedalavada is an obsessive-compulsive, neurotic, extremely messy and often sleep deprived debate enthusiast currently finishing his final year of IBDP at Oakridge International School, Newton Campus. On most days, he's often to be found researching anything he finds interesting, from Mathematics to International Relations, or playing Dota 2/League of Legends. Besides that, he's an avid reader, a trap music aficionado, a basketball player and comedy buff. Anish is extremely proud to be a part of TEDxOakridgeInternationalSchool, because sharing ideas is not just his ideal pastime, it’s the sum total of all his career aspirations.

Apoorva Polisetty

Apoorva Polisetty is a 12th grader at Oakridge International School, studying English, Biology and Psychology at a higher level. Apart from all things Harry Potter (and a fair bit of Tolkein), some of her hobbies include playing the piano, painting and baking. She also spends a huge part of her year participating in Model United Nations conferences and loves good debates, especially those that tackle the ever-ambiguous case of self-identity in today’s dynamic society.

Neeharika Thuravil

Neeharika Thuravil is a senior in the IBDP at Oakridge International School, her subjects being Mathematics, Physics, and Language and Literature at higher level. She has a keen interest in astronomy and environmental science, and spends her time gazing at the stars and organizing her school's green conference. Her other hobbies include tap dancing, impromptu rhyming, and learning languages- she ably communicates in seven. She is also an avid MUNer and thrives in debates, especially those involving humans and their behavior.

Puneet Repalle

Puneet Repalle is a 12th grader studying Humanities at Delhi Public School, Hyderabad. He is a national level triathlete and works avidly for Dalit organisations while being an Intern at Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty. He has lived in conflict zones like Kosovo and has developed great interest for conflict ever since. As a Research Intern at Center for Human Security Studies he studied the relationship between India and Pakistan with profound depth.

Rohil Deshpande

Rohil Deshpande, a 12th grader at Delhi Public School, is an aspiring lawyer, with a passion for public speaking, debating and swimming.

Vignesh Valliyur

Vignesh, currently a 12th grader studying humanities at Delhi Public School Hyderabad is an avid debater, passionate public speaker, model UN enthusiast and a national level tennis player. Being a student of the humanities he spends a lot of his spare time reading about political theories, philosophy, economics and thinking about things that shape the world we live in. One such topic is how the world’s leaders influence the people around them and make an impact with their ideas, speeches and personalities.
